Mrs. Annie B. Bauer – Date of Death April 3, 1950
Mrs. Annie B. Bauer, 68, of Rt. 2, died at 1 p.m. Monday at University Hospital, Iowa City, Ia., after an illness of a few months. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffmann Mortuary. The requiem mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick’s Church. Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery in Mosalem Township. Mrs. Bauer was born November 14, 1882, in Mosalem Township, the daughter of the late Jacob and Barbara Heer Haupert. She lived in this community all her life. She was a member of the Catholic Church and attended St. Joseph’s parish where she belonged to the Rosary Society. Surviving are one daughter, Ann Bauer, at home; one sister, Mrs. Mary Mastin of Mosalem Township; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband, Joseph Bauer in 1903.
