Services for Mrs. Frank McPoland, 79, of 647 Chestnut St. will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Nativity. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Fillmore.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Mortuary, where the Court Our Lady of Victory, Catholic Daughters of America rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday and parish rosary at 8 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. McPoland, the former Bernadette Agnes Hall, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday at home. She was born in Peosta, Iowa, and was a member of Nativity Rosary Society, Nativity Guild, Court Our Lady of Victory Catholic Daughters of America, and Nativity Senior Citizens.
Surviving beside her husband are six daughters, Mrs. Henry (Eileen) Nauman, Mrs. George (Mary) Coffin, Mrs. John (Betty) Tillman, Mrs. William (Lois) Bublitz, Mrs. John (Virginia) Schiel, and Mrs. Cletus (Shirley Anstoetter)Maiers, all of Dubuque; a son, Robert of Dubuque; 34 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John (Bernice) Daly of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. LeRoy (Eileen) Oswald of Dubuque, and two brothers, Robert Hall of Farley, Iowa,and Raymond Hall of Dyersville, Iowa.
