MRS. W. T. GILLIAM ANSWERS SUMMONS

Mrs. Louise D. Gilliam, wife of W. T. Gilliam, passed away at the home of her son, C. A. Gilliam, 210 Alta Vista street, on Friday evening at six o’clock. Mrs. Gilliam had been ailing for several months and during that period she was a most patient sufferer.

The deceased was born in Edinburg, Indiana, May 31,1839, and for sixty-six years had been a resident of this city. She was a member of the First Congregational church and active in the work of the church. Besides her immediate family her death will be mourned by legions of friends to whom she had endeared herself by her kind, cheerful manners. Her husband, four sons and three daughters survive her: C. A. Gilliam, Dubuque; Mrs. John Platt, Epworth; Mrs. Elmer Mink, Eugene, Ore.; A. W. Gilliam, Springfield, Mo.; W. O. Gilliam, Minneapolis, Minn.; F. M. Gilliam, Edna, Lousiiana ; Mrs. George Silzer, of Des Moines.

The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon from the residence at 2;30 o’clock to Linwood cemetery.
