John McCarron, of Table Mound Township, is a fugitive from justice on a charge of Mayhem. He having bitten a piece out of the lip of a young man with whom he had a fight. The officer knocked at the front door of the McCarron residence When he called to make the arrest and John slipped out the back door and took to the woods.
