MORE MINERS AGAINST “STUMPTAIL."- A meeting of Miner’s was held at Burton’s Furnace on Monday. W. Crossier, Chairman; Z. Bell, Secretary; E. Metcalf, W. Brooks, A. J. Kitto, Lucas and J. Carter, Committee on Resolution.

The following resolutions were presented and adopted:
Resolved, That we, as miners, will patronize no smelter who may offer paper money for mineral.
Resolved, That we will not countenance any miner who may take paper money for mineral.
Resolved, That we will not support any man for officer who is in favor of a banking system, without respect to party.
Resolved, That we will not patronize any smelter who may insist on paying out money for mineral.
