The Steamer Pawnee, Capt. Leonard, arrived at our landing last evening. This is the first trip of the Pawnee to this place. We understand, from the Captain, that it is his intention to run the best in this trade the present season. She is a first rate boat and her Capt. and officers are a gentlemanly and accommodating set of men. Especially do we like the twig of the Captain’s eye.
