Horse Stolen

George Wilde is the victim of a villain in the shape of a horse thief.- or at least has every reason to believe so. Last Monday a man came to his livery stable and hired a horse to ride to the Monastery, promising to be back Tuesday, Tuesday came, but no horse; and now at the end of a weeks time it is safe to conclude that a sharp confidence game has been played. Mr. Wilde has been unable to obtain any trace of the direction taken by the thief. A description of the horse and the thief will be found in the advertisement headed "$75 Reward," on our first page.
