A Sad Case
Mr. John E. Miller, Jr., has been in jail some fifteen days, waiting the conclusion whether he should be sent to the insane asylum. He is very kindly cared for, having the personal attendance, as nurse, of Mr. B. F. Davis, a man of experience at the sick bed and in cases that need constant watching. While Mr. Miller is somewhat better, it is still doubtful whether it will be safe, for himself, to be at liberty. Some of his habits are dangerous for him and for others, and there effect should be alike a warning to him and to others who may be tending to the same condition. As a son of one of our early citizens, his relatives have a large share of sympathy extended to them in the case of this unfortunate man. It is hoped he will be restored to reason, temperance and health.
