The Jennie Brown, Captain Huffschmidt’s new boat, came off the ways and was taking on freight at the Diamond Jo wharf boat for Lansing. She is intended to run between Lansing and Savanna, the characteristically incorrect Herald to the contrary notwithstanding. Jesse T. Jarrett is her agent here and no better one could have been selected. Captain H. is also proprietor of Ella and before a great while will have another boat or two for the line. We hope Dubuque shippers will give him good patronage, as he deserves it, having already spent $3,000 here on the Jennie Brown.
