Deed Recorded

Today C. D. Hayden, secretary of the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Association, had the deed to the forty-seven acres of the additional land adjoining the old cemetery, recorded. The strip of land lies west and south of the present cemetery which compromises thirteen acres. The forty-seven acres was donated by Archbishop Keane and will make a valuable addition to the cemetery. As addition is lower than the spot where the well is, water can be piped all over the entire cemetery, and thus furnish a good supply for all purposes. The cemetery has been in neglected condition for many years, but with the addition and the water supply it will soon be modernized and made attractive.
