Leon Wallace of this city, drilled a well on Bishop Hennessy’s farm in Table Mound Township, and a flowing well was obtained with 145 feet of water. It is one of the finest wells in the county, and requires no mechanical or other assistance, but by means of siphon pipes the water is conducted to the tanks.
