George & Mary Jane (Heiderscheit) Miller

George Miller was one of seven children born to George and Christina (Wean) *Muller. At age 19 George left Harsberg, Germany, with his brothers Adam and Peter, arriving in America in 1882. The brothers remained in New York while George continued in to Minnesota and then to Iowa, where he married Mary Jane Heiderscheit of Holy Cross in January of 1890. They farmed south of Bankston until 1936 where they retired to a house near the Catholic Church in Farley. George died in 1946. May Jane passed away in 1956. They had seven children.
