William F. & Catherine (Bockenstedt) Kluesner

William F. Kluesner was born on Sept. 28, 1882. He married Catherine Bockenstedt in New Vienna, Iowa. Catherine was born Dec. 13, 1880. William and Catherine farmed 2 ½ miles northeast of Farley. The farm is now owned by grandson Richard. He was active in this community as a member of the Creamery Board, the Farm Bureau and served as president of the Farley State Bank. Catherine died in 1941. William died in 1949. They had eleven children: Elmer, Cyril, Beatrice (Freyman), Clarence, Fred, Mary (Gotto), Ed, Joseph, Irene, John and Gerald.
