Frank & Eva (Noesges) Ferring

Frank Ferring was born in rural Bankston. He was the son of Michael and Eva Ferring. Be married Margaret Noesges (1881-1978) Margaret was the daughter of Frank and Angela Noesges. Frank Ferring found the Farley State Bank in 1906. The Ferrings constructed the house at 301 2nd Avenue S. E., presently the home of Duane and Sharon Petsche. The home had beautiful oak floors and woodwork which the workmen were paid 40 cents an hour to install at the homes construction in 1913. Frank died Jan. 16, 1950. The Ferrings had five children: Lorraine (Kiernan), Lionel, Donald, Jeanette, (Janie) Kleeman, and Madonna.
