Peter Boffeli was born Nov. 26, 1878 in Italy. He came to America in 1893. Peter and Kathleen Arlen (1885-1965) of Bankston were married in 1907. They farmed south of Farley on the farm now owned by Virgil Murphy. The Boffeli’s had thirteen children: Marcella, Laverne, Merlin, Cecelia, Mariet, Pearl, Bill, Delia, Sister Mary Randell, Allen, Eldon, Rosenne and Eugene. Peter worked for the Arquitt’s at the stone quarry when he came to Farley.
