Judgement was rendered in the Circuit Court in Dubuque, on Friday, Dec. 1st, against Sadler & Wagner, furniture manufactures, for the sum of $1,500 in favor of a young man named Hoffman, who had a hand partly cut off while working in the shop of that firm. This decision is entirely without precedent in this State, and if sustained by the Supreme Court, will occasion much litigations of a similar character.
