Pleasant Rooms
Dentist E. L. Clarke, corner of Eight and Main Streets, has had some artistic touches put on his rooms which have made such a change that one would hardly recognize them. The walls are neatly papered in blue, handsomely bordered, and hung with pretty paintings and, to complete the comfortable look of things; a Brussels carpet covers the floor. The windows have been remodeled and single lights substituted for the old style small panes. They are now as attractive dental rooms as we ever saw. The Doctor has a full outfit of all the late improvements in dentistry, including the dental engine, by the aid of which he can drill out a decayed tooth preparatory to filling it in a very short time. The advantage of this method over the old style of drilling teeth by the hour can be easily appreciated. These improvements certainly, speak well for the Doctor’s taste, enterprise and prosperity. Which reminds us that through many years of practice-over a third of a century-Dr. Clarke’s patronage has kept increasing year by year; naturally enough, too, as the fillings he put in many years since, and which remain still as sound and good as ever, and other branches of his art equal in excellence, constitute a “standing advertisement” for him of the most effective character.
