STRUCK A CALF-Two boys of Mr. Jeff McGrath's while prospecting on Seminary Hill yesterday, came upon a calf in a mineral hole, and thereby hangs a tail. Bur it is not our purpose to append any long and labored details, we merely risk to remark: that the striking of this calf ought not to induce any agriculturalist to desert his gardens and go round digging for calves. Neither would it at all comport with the dignity and unselfishness of the average miner to hasten into somebody’s court to get out an injunction, to stay proceedings of the young McGraths. It is not supposed the Seminary Hill diggings will pan out any more calves.
