Pin Oak; he was born Feb. 23, 1833 in Jefferson Co., New York; in 1857, he came to Dubuque Co.,; own 400 acres of land; he has been President of the School Board and Director, Township Clerk, etc. Married Sarah F. Floyd in 1860; she was born in 1840 in Concord Township; they have three children, two living-George and John; they lost Elizabeth, aged 3 years. Christian Church.
