INJURED IN A SAW MILL
~
John Greene, a resident of this city, was painfully injured while at work in the Standard Lumber Company in Dubuque yesterday afternoon. Greene’s injury consists of two ugly cuts, one through the sole of his right foot and another which extends through the right knee cap. These injuries besides is of a very painful nature, will probably result in permanently crippling Mr. Greene. The accident happened while he was engaged in working about a revolving saw. In some manner his foot came in contact with the saw and in endeavoring to remove the member, his knee came in contact with the keen edge of the saw. Greene was removed to his boarding place in this city.
