Mrs. Henry R. Keagy

The marriage of Henry Reed Keagy and Miss Katie May McIntosh, both of Epworth, Iowa, took place there at the residence of the bride’s parents at 6 o’clock last evening. The father of the bride, Rev. A. M. McIntosh pastor of the M. E. Church at that place, officiating. The parlors were tastefully decorated with flowers, chrysanthemums predominating.

The groom is one of the substantial young businessmen of Epworth and is well known in this city, where he has many friends who wish him happiness and joy in his voyage on the sea of matrimony. The bride is a beautiful young lady, an accomplished musician, and will be an able helpmate.

The happy couple departs for Cherokee this morning for a short visit among relatives and friends.

A pleasant feature of the evening was the gathering of the friends and fellow members of the Eromathean Glee Club, who formed a serenade party and sang several songs and wished the contracting parties a pleasant future.

Among the guests were Mrs. Manchester and daughter Alice, Milwaukee; Mrs. L. C. Millard, Chippewa Falls, Wis.; Mrs. Charles Husted, Manchester, Iowa; Mrs. Jennie Strayer, Calmar, Iowa; Mrs. Strayer, Freeport, Iowa and about thirty relatives and friends from Epworth and vicinity.
