Another deal in real estate in the private residence has taken place in the sale of a handsome double house on West Fourteenth Street belonging to A. Mackenzie, which has just been purchased by C. D. Scott of the Schreiber & Conchar Company. Mr. Mackenzie erected the houses only a few years ago, and they are very modern and attractive, but as he soon afterward removed from the city to Chicago to remain, he found it rather difficult to look after the property, and a few days ago came over and closed the deal. It is understood that the price paid was $7,500.
