ADDS A NEW INDUSTRY
~
E. P. Spahn Makes Many
Improvements and Engages
in Manufacture of Paper Boxes
~
E. R. Spahn, the undertaker, 1362 Clay Street, has just completed quite extensive improvements in his establishment and created a new industry, that of the manufacture of paste board boxes on a large scale. Mr. Spahn has extended his building back and built it up three stories in height and greatly enlarged it, thus adding a great deal more room. He has also put in an elevator and many other needed improvements which will be used in the carrying on in his already extensive business. His undertaking department has been painted and papered and greatly beautified, making it very attractive. A consignment of 20 tons of cardboard to be worked up in his paper box factory have arrived last night and with new machinery installed he is ready to carry on this new industry on an extensive scale.

Note: In this article his initials are first E. P. and secondly E. R.
