Corbett-Lyons Wedding

The marriage of Miss Josephine Corbett and Mr. Thomas Lyons solemnized last Sunday at St. Anthony’s Church.

Rev. Father O’Malley officiated at the ceremony and read the nuptial mass. The bride was becomingly attired in a gown of white silk and was unattended. A sumptuous wedding breakfast was served following the ceremony at the home of the bride’s mother, where the happy young couple received the congratulations of their relatives and friends. The home was profusely decorated in smilax, ferns and roses. The bride was born and reared in Dubuque and is admired by a host of friends for her genial manner. Mr. Lyons is a man of many fine traits of character and is held in high esteem by a large circle of acquaintances. Mr. and Mrs. Lyons will be home after August 1 at 1617 White Street.
