A JUNE WEDDING
~
Marriage This Afternoon of Mr. Lee
Kuempel and Miss Grace Lewis
Solemnized
~
The marriage of Miss Grace Lewis and Mrs. Lee Kuempel was solemnized this afternoon at 3 o’clock at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Lewis, 54 Vernon Place. Rev. Hugh D. Atchison of St. Luke’s Methodist Episcopal Church, read the services which unites for life two of Dubuque’s best known young people. The bride was handsomely attired in a gown of white French batiste and was unattended. A reception was held after the ceremony, at which the relatives and a few intimidate friends were present.

Mrs. Kuempel is the daughter of Postmaster Lewis of Richardsville. For several years she has been in the employ of W. B. Deckert Co. as stenographer. Prominent in church and social circles, her legion of friends wish her much happiness in her journey through life. Mr. Kuempel is chief clerk for F. J. Clemens, division freight and passenger agent. He is a young man universally liked and in every way worthy of the charming bride he has won for a life companion. The happy couple left on the Milwaukee for Buffalo to spend the honeymoon.
