Marriage of Dr. Adams and
Miss Anna Gantenbein Took

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Gantenbein, No. 280 Eagle Street, at noon today occurred the marriage of Dr. O. G. W. Adams and Miss Anna Gantenbein. None by near relatives witnessed the ceremony which was very gracefully performed by Mayor Berg. The mayor was not to be found at his office in the city hall as at his usual hour just before noon, and callers were at a loss to know what had happened, as the mayor is always very punctual. He had gone home instead of to his office, where he donned his best suit, and at the appointed hour he tied the nuptial knot as neat and gracefully as a pious old pastor could have done.

After the usual congratulation a wedding repast which all partook of, Dr. and Mrs. Adams were driven to the home of the former, 1472 Locust Street, where they will reside. Later they will make an extended trip south. Both the doctor and his bride are well known here, and very highly respected. Mrs. Adams was born and reared in this city, and is a very practical and amiable young woman.
