12 Year Old Mamie Hendricks the
Victim of a Bad Accident

Little Mamie Hendricks, 12 year old and residing on Bennett Street was taking off her hat yesterday when she accidentally stuck the hat pin in her eye. The wound being a dangerous one three physicians were called. They did everything possible for the child but to no avail. The sight of the eye was totally destroyed. The child was removed to Mercy Hospital. The sight of the other eye will be lost.
