The Sacred Heart Church was a scene of very pretty wedding at 7 o’clock this morning. The contracting parties were Miss Susie Deckert, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Deckert of 704 Rhomberg Avenue, and Mr. William H. Meuser. Nuptial mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Bauman assisted by the choir. The bride looked charming in a going away gown of silver grey Venetian cloth, hat to match. The bridesmaid, sister of the bride, was dressed in similar attire. Mr. Louis Eulburg of Galena was best man. A wedding breakfast followed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s mother’s at which the relatives and a few intimidate friends were present.

Mr. and Mrs. Meuser have a host of friends in this city who extend their best wishes to them on the special day. Mr. Meuser is one of Dubuque’s best known business men. He is a member of the lumber firm of Ott, Meuser & Co., and possesses the necessary qualifications that go to make a thoroughly successful man. The bride as a modest unassuming young woman, fitted by her winsome manner to grace the home over which she will preside. The young party departed on the Central at 1:15 for the east where they will spend their honeymoon. They will be home after March 1st, at 2328 Couler Avenue.
