CHILD INJURED – Little Harry Hill, son of J. N. Hill, Esq., was seriously injured Thursday morning by being struck and hurtled to the ground by the whiffletrees (word loss due to ripped page) at the heels of a runaway horse belonging to Mr. Pfiffner which passed him on the payment on Iowa Street near the corner of 13th. The boy received some ugly gashes and bruises about the head, and fears of internal injuries were being entertained by the physician attending him last evening.
