AGAIN – H. B. Gifford was on Saturday last overtaken by another severe accident. A few weeks since he was overtaken by a flying stick of wood which sent him into insensibility instanter and into bed for a week or fortnight longer. Yesterday he manged to insert his thumb exactly between two cars at the moment of impingement, and consequently the majority of the thumb came up missing.
