In to-days Herald will be found the advertisement of Messrs. Pettibone & Pierce, who have started a Grocery on the corner of Iowa and 13th Streets, directly west of Central Market. Mr. Pettibone has had large experience heretofore in mercantile business, and is well and favorably known in Dubuque. The junior partner, Geo. S. Pierce, is known by everyone in Dubuque, as well as everyone on the Mississippi – he, as is generally know, being the ex-clerk of Key City. We can say nothing that will add to the esteem which is already felt for him – everybody knows him, and everybody likes him, and of course everyone who can, will call around the the corner of 13th and Iowa Street.
