ACKNOWLEDGEMENT- Mr. B. F. Dow wished to return his sincere thanks to Peter Kiene for the honesty displayed by the latter in returning to him his pocketbook, with an amount of money and valuable papers and would commend his honesty and integrity of something worth of imitation. Such conduct is rarely met with, and is deserving of the highest praise.
