KEMPF'S CELLAR- Having business on Southern Avenue yesterday we called in on Kempf's Brewery and inspected the establishment. Mr. Kempf is constructing a cellar for the storage of beer. The bluff in the rear of the building has been excavated a distance of sixty feet under ground, making a cavity for storing 1,500 barrel of beer. There will be some 500 tons harvested and used to give the cellars and even temperature during all seasons of the year. Mr. K. is having things arranged in good order and convenient for handling beer in bulk, or barrel. The cellars are all connected, and and the work will move with the regularity of clock work when the improvements are completed.
