Dubuque Democratic Herald – May 4, 1865

TELEGRAPH OFFICE REMOVAL - Mr. Rousseau has arrived from Chicago to remove the telegraph office, which has rented a suite of rooms for that purpose in Andrew’s Block, corner of Main and 5th Streets, the former office of Burt & Lyon, directly under Mill’s Photographic Gallery. One object of the removal is to avoid the annoyance of street loafers, and inquisitive, meddlesome outsiders, who are constantly hanging around the office, annoying the operator. In the new office he will be more by himself.
