ACCIDENT TO A MULE – One of Joe Light’s mules, used in hauling wood, fell partially through the Third Street Bridge last Saturday, injuring itself severely. One of its legs is cracked or broken, making it useless for some time to come. Attention had frequently been called to the condition of this bridge, and after the city has to pay for damages, we suppose the bridge will be repaired.
