Runaway
~
A serious accident occurred yesterday on Iowa Street to a son of Mr. M. Morgan, the wood dealer. He was driving his father’s team, when the harness needed adjusting, he stepped out on the tongue of the wagon between the horses to fix it, when one of them commenced kicking, which started the other one, and they both ran off down the street, throwing the boy between them. The horses stepped on his face bruising it badly, the wheels ran over him, and taken altogether, he was seriously injured although no bones were broken. He was taken home and properly cared for.
