City authorities are taking every precaution against the spread of this disease. Mr. Dobler died last evening. Mr. Massicker has the varoloid but is improving. It is needless to say, that street rumors about this contagion are not to be relied on. If a case is reported in a few hours Madame rumor will have it many cases and rapidly spreading. There is no occasion for alarm.
