ARRIVAL OF VETERANS

As we announced yesterday morning, Company E. 5th Iowa Calvary numbering 35, arrived in Dunleith Tuesday night and circulated pretty freely about town yesterday enjoying themselves after a long term of service with its hardship, trial and privations. In battle they have always given a good account of themselves, and are an honor to the State. Last evening a complimentary supper was given them at the Lorimer Hall and free tickets to the social assembly held thee. A dance was held after the supper and a good time was had.
