Barrett, Lawrence F. (Born Garryowen, IA, July 16, 1886 - Died Cascade, IA, Mar. 9, 1943). Mayor, Barrett, a graduate of the Chicago Veterinary College and a prominent eastern Iowa veterinarian, served two terms as the mayor of Cascade from 1926 to 1928 and was a member of the Cascade Commercial Club.
