THE DUBUQUE DAILY HERALD, September 29, 1901

A very pretty and quiet wedding occurred Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Spensley, on Delhi Street, when their second daughter, Miss Minnie Spensley, was united in happy wedlock to William L. Starr. The marriage ceremony was preformed exactly at eight o’clock by Rev. Dweilo, and consisted of the single ring service. The bride was becomingly attired in a dainty costume of white silk and carried pink bride’s roses. The bride is a young woman of sterling character and has been in the employ of E. H. Starr’s grocery store for a number of years. The groom is a young man of promising character and holds a high position with Hayne & Campbell Co. Mr. and Mrs. Starr went housekeeping at 1375 West 14th Street.
