Well Known Sign Writer Weds
Popular Young Lady of This City

Mr. A. Frick, the well known sign writer, was united in marriage this morning to Miss Frances Kettler at St. Mary’s Church at 5:30 o’clock. Rev. Father Robimann officiating. The marriage ceremony was witnessed by a large number of friends of the contracting parties.

The bride was prettily attired in a gown of white batiste trimmed with silk and pearls. The couple was unattended. After the ceremony, which made the happy couple man and wife, had been concluded the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride’s mother at 447 Seminary Hill, where a wedding breakfast was awaiting their arrival. The rooms at the home were beautifully decorated in white and green, and presented a very pretty appearance. After receiving the congratulations and best wishes of their friends, the couple was driven to the depot, where they departed on a train for Omaha to spend their honeymoon. When they return they make their home on Elm Street.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Frances Kettler, and of the late Mr. Antone Kettler, who was a well known contractor in this city. She was educated in the Dubuque Public Schools and has resided here the greater part of her life. She enjoyed the acquaintance of a large number of friends who hold her in the highest esteem. The groom is well known in Dubuque where he has lived the greater part of his life. He has established a good business of sign writing and is very artistic in his work. He has had many years of practical experience in this line and is considered a number one artist.
