B., 1883; married, Boston, Mass., Nov. 11, 1884, Mary Louise Darling; children: Eleanor, James M., Jr., Homer D., Kendall, Mary Louise. Entered employ of Necedah Lumber Co. of Necedah, Wis., 1884; treasurer and general manager of that company, 1891-1899; went to Dubuque, 1899 and purchased an interest in Farley & Loetscher Manufacturing Co., since then vice-president and treasurer of company. President and director Loetscher-Taeger Co. of Des Moines; treasurer and director Key City Gas Co., Julien House Co.; director Second National Bank & Dubuque Savings Bank. Republican; Congregationalist. Trustee Finley Hospital, Linwood Cemetery Ass'n, T. M. C. A. Clubs: Dubuque, Dubuque Golf. Address: 423 W. Third St., Dubuque.
