DIED-- BREWER. In Clay county, Iowa, July 5th, 1889, George Brewer, aged 41 years, 4 months and 18 days.

Deceased was born in Madison county, New York. Came west to Clinton, Wisconsin, and in 1871 was married to Miss Emily Nightengale. Moved to Linn county, Iowa, in 1872, and moved into Clay county the following year.

Deceased leaves a wife and six children, the eldest a son of sixteen years, who will be a great help and comfort to his bereaved mother.

Mr. Brewer was a soldier, though not a pensioner or a member of any post. His family is the more deserving of sympathy, and in its straightened circumstances, of material assistance cheerfully rendered. He was held in high esteem by all. The remains were laid to rest in Milford cemetery.
