Pearl C. Swanson, 65, of Shingle Springs, California, native of Mason City, died in a Shingle Springs Hospital October 5 following a brief illness.

Funeral services were held in the Leyson Funeral Chapel at Milford Saturday, October 10, with burial in the family plot south of Milford.

Mrs. Swanson lived in Milford a number of years until about 15 years ago when she moved to Cherokee where she was employed. She moved to California four years ago. Mrs. Swanson was a member of the Chrysolite Rebecca Lodge where she held a Degree of Honor.

Survivors include two sons, Lyle Titterington of Sacramento, Calif., Robert Titterington of Yankton, S.D.; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Watson of Rialto, Calif., and Mrs. Dorothy Walton of Sacramento; a brother, Paul Griffin of Wappello: 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
