Death of Mrs. R.O. Stroessig

Margaret Eva Lenz was born October 9, 1888 in Mercer county, Illinois and died on October 31, 1926 at Lake park, Minnesota, at the age of 38 years and 21 days.

At the age of six weeks she came to Iowa with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Lenz and grew to womanhood here. In January 1914 she was married to R.O. Sproessig of Lake Park where they resided for a year and then moved to Princeton, Minnesota, where they resided at the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her death her grief stricken husband and three children, Durward, Robert and Richard; her father, Adam Lenz, Sr. of Westport township; two brothers, Nick Lenz and Adam Lenz Jr of Lake Park, Iowa and three sisters, Mrs. Harl Titterington of Hartley, Iowa, Mrs. Gilbert Zahren of Lake Park, Iowa and Mrs. Harry Zahren of Hartley, Iowa, nieces and nephews and other relatives and host of friends

The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the Lenz home in Westport township being conducted by Rev. J. L. Shroyer, pastor of the Methodist church of Lake Park, Iowa, and interment was made in the Haggerty cemetery.
