Found reference to Frederick D. Asmussen buried in Loper Cemetery. Have been looking for man of same name who abandoned Mathilda (Matilda) Greve Asmussen in Davenport, IA in January 1871. She divorced him and I have been searching. Want to find out his history, he would be my paternal GGGrandfather. The Asmussen in Loper would be about the correct age. Grave next to him is a Louise M. Asmussen. May have been second wife (?). Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
