This Summer I bought a old Cook book at a Yard Sale This is an Orgl Cook book of 1876 Made by the Ladies of Plymouth Church Des Moines, Iowa In the Back of the book is Adds for Business I have listed these in the Newspaper part of Des Moines Gen web page. Surnames, Knight, Cary, Dimmitt, Hatch, Abbett,Comparet, Stark, Smith, Naylor, Rounds, White, Willis, Plumb, Osgood, Wyman, Harris, Mills, Morrison, Reinking, Lederer, Merrill, Whitman, Rollins, Owens
I live in Michigan and am not connected to anyone that I know of in Des Moines But believe in Sharing info when I find it. That it might help others out.Will scan & try to send orgl copies to Don Kelly. Hope I've helped someone
