Thomas and Eliza Candy

Can any lister please help me with references to Thomas and Eliza Candy and their four children: Eliza (b 1838), Edith (b 1840), William (b 1843) and John (b 1849).

They migrated from England to Iowa in 1850 or 1851. By 1856 Eliza was shown in the Des Moines County Census as a widow.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
