Seek early 1840-1850 records of German Evangelical Lutheran Church(es) or congregations and Pastors in Des Moines County IA area linking to the listed surnames of widely varied spellings. Need any record of deaths, adoptions and procedures of that time. Deaths of Henry Schlueter or Slater b. ca. 1824, Caroline Christine Nolting Hasenjaeger b. ca. 1811, possible adoption of Hasenjeger children Fr. Wm. & Henry by Schlueter/Slater family, etc.
