Welch/Cunningham Families

WELCH, CUNNINGHAM, ELLIOTT, STILES

I am looking for information about a Thomas Tipton Cunningham that lived in Des Moines, Iowa with his wife (Ellen Welch)and her family. Her father was John Dyer Welch and her mother was Mary Elliott Welch. Particularly, I am interested in finding the birth town and county of Ireland that Thomas T. Cunningham came from...and his parents' names. Thomas was born about 1844-45 and came to the USA in 1860...became a doctor after service with the Iowa Infantry during the Civil War. This family moved west to Missouri and Kansas between 1870 and 1880. Any information would be really appreciated.
